Jerry Mathers to Inaugurate "Celebrities on ICE!"

The Institute for Character Enrichment is pleased to announce that "Jerry Mathers on ICE!" will launch ICE's benefit event series.  This inaugural event will be held at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City on Friday evening, August 6, 2004.

"Jerry Mathers on ICE!" is certain to be a fun event, particularly for all of the baby-boomers who grew up watching Leave It To Beaver.  Our guests will get to meet Jerry Mathers, enjoy Leave It To Beaver entertainment, a Leave It To Beaver trivia contest, live auction, silent auction, door prizes, and more.  Here's a chance to revisit your childhood!

This fun event is a fund raiser for ICE. It will also help expand your understanding of ICE's mission and plans, and your opportunities to participate. ICE is creating a television-centered mass-audience program reminiscent of an earlier era, updated for today.  We are combining psychological science, learning, fun and entertainment to make a difference. It is a powerful concept, and Jerry Mathers will help highlight more at at this event.

Mick Cornett

Mayor Mick Cornett to Welcome Jerry Mathers
Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett and his family will be among the many guests for "Jerry Mathers on ICE!" Elected at age 45, Cornett became the City's youngest mayor since 1959. He spent 20 years in local television working in both news and sports, serving as reporter, anchor and manager. He left television and started his own video production business in 2001.  What mayor could better understand the power of television and the potential for ICE than Mick Cornett?
