School Projects Print a copy of this and take it to your teacher.  Suggest that it might be a fun way to learn about character. The Inventors Contest (Creativity) Materials: You will need several small items like buttons, Popsicle sticks, film canisters, or other common items (You will need enough so each team has one of each item) Glue or tape Paints , crayons, or markers Scissors Divide the class into teams and pass out the materials.  Tell the class they need to invent a useful item with the given materials. Have them write down a description of their invention and how it is used.  This would be an excellent rainy day activity.
